What is a Westland Library Digital Access Card?

These are library cards for Westland residents. This card will allow residents to access our electronic resources and watch movies or check out books online for 30 days. 

Why get a Digital Access library card?

The Digital Access Card will allow you access to our online educational and entertainment resources, including eBooks, educational websites, research databases, and more!

Can I check out books?

Yes, you can download eBooks and audiobooks from OverDrive and Hoopla. To receive access to our physical library materials, stop by the library with your valid ID and we'll renew your card for another 3 years. See our library catalog to discover all we offer including books, movies, music, and video games! 

How do I get a Westland Library Digital Access Card?

To apply online, simply complete the Digital Access Card Application Form. It can take up to 2 days to process your request. Your library card number will be sent to the email address you provide.

What if I'm a K-12 student?

Westland students in grades K-12 are able to request a Student Card. This card will allow students access to our online educational and entertainment resources, including eBooks, educational websites, research databases, and more! Students Card expire on June 31, 2021.
