Take Your Child to the Library Week

Celebrate Take Your Child to the Library Day with us from February 15 - 21 (we had so many fun things to do we decided to create a week out of it!).  We have galactic knights, robot building, minecraft creating, storytellers, storytimes, and crafts scheduled throughout the week. If you can't make it to any of our events, please join us at the library to make use of our many kid's play areas (both tech-oriented and family fun), as well as our books and reading nooks and quiet, study areas.

If you have questions about any of these events, please visit our Events page or call the Youth Department at 734-326-6123 (press "4").

  • book lists and app lists that libraries around the U.S. recommend for use with your family;
  • online sign-up and tracking for Summer Reading Program;
  • and much, much more.

Beanstack will officially be open for all library users on Tuesday, December 1st. Set up a profile for your child(ren) at westland.beanstack.org.
