Now Accepting Book Donations

The Friends of the Library are now accepting book donations! Donations of up to 2 boxes or bags can be dropped off in the lobby during the following times:

  • Mondays 1 pm - 7 pm
  • Saturdays 10 am - 2 pm

World Language Collection

We now have a World Language Collection! Located next to the magazines, this collection includes fiction and nonfiction books in the following languages:

  • Français (French)

  • हिन्दी (Hindi)
  • Español (Spanish)

New! Detroit Free Press Archive and Coronavirus Research Database

We have two new resources available in our digital collection!

The Detroit Free Press Archive is a searchable archive of the Detroit Free Press from 1831 to the present. New issues are added about 1 month after publication. Can be accessed in the library or with your Westland Library card.

The Coronavirus Research Database is a health and medical research database for openly available content related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Access in the library or with your Westland Library card.
