Do you love the library? We have just started a new volunteer program and there are many great ways to get involved. We are currently looking for adults who are interested in helping us with computer training, Friday movie nights, literacy training, ESL conversation groups, shelf reading, shelf shifting and more. Download a volunteer application today and turn it into the Reception desk.
Welcome!
Library News

The Library's Teen Advisory Board is sponsoring a Winter Clothing Drive through December 30th. Drop off your used (but clean!) winter items like hats, scarves, sweaters, mittens, jackets or coats in the designated boxes at the Library throughout the holiday season.
Thanks for all of your contributions! All donations go to Purple Heart.
You hear people mentioning it all the time, but maybe you aren't really sure what a Roth IRA is all about. Now is the time to get informed!
Andrew Gagne, Associate Financial Advisor with Ameriprise Financial will be at the library on Tuesday, October 26th at 7 pm to answer your questions and make sure you're aware of the potential tax benefits behind a Roth IRA conversion.

Get your pencils sharpened for some serious writing come November! The library is hosting a kick-off party and writing nights during National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo, for short) and everyone with an idea for a novel (you know you have one) is invited to participate. The NaNoWriMo organization offers great support during the process as you can communicate and work with writers going through the same process as you. If you're up to the challenge, sign up at the Reference Desk or show up at our kick-off at Biggby Coffee (Ford Rd., Westland) on 11/3 or at one of our Writing Nights at the library (11/9, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30).
