Dinner and a movie change

We recently learned that the release date for the movie originally selected for our final Dinner and a Movie of the season (the Best Picture winner, no less) has been pushed back until June. So we've had to change our selection to this movie based on a book about a father who buys a countryside zoo with his kids and tries to make a go of it. Alexander the Great is catering, so please join us for what is still sure to be a treat.

Seeking Teen Volunteers for the Summer

Will you be entering 9th grade or above in the fall? Do you like kids and reading? The Children’s Department is currently seeking teen volunteers to help for our Summer Reading Program, Dream Big, READ. Interested volunteers are asked to commit to two or more hours per week doing a variety of tasks. This is a great opportunity to earn service hours for your school or community organization while you have free time during the summer! Applications are available in the library or online here; please check out the application for more information and return completed applications to the Children’s Desk.
