Great Michigan Read programs

The Westland Public Library is proud to announce several programs as part of its Great Michigan Read participation. This year's book, Annie's Ghosts by Steve Luxenberg, is predominantly set at the former Eloise Hospital. We are kicking off our programs on April 30th with OCC Professor Emeritus Dennis Fiems, as well as hosting book clubs, talks by the Friends of Eloise, genealogy research, and coffee with Mr. Luxenberg himself. Visit the library's Great Michigan Read page or stop by any of our service desk for more information on these upcoming events. If you would like to read the book, check with the library's Reference Desk. Sponsored by the Michigan Humanities Council.

Everyone who uses our library is a stakeholder in this process, so all interested parties are welcome. Refreshments served. Sign-up on our Events page for a reminder email.
